Elizeo ten! Who would had thought that?

Celebrating his birthday dress in his new clothes

Elizeo is a very popular boy so all of the staff wanted to be there to celebrate his birthday, so the executive decision was that as he turned 10 years of age his birthday would be celebrated a little early this year on Friday 23rd rather than the following day so everyone could congratulate the birthday boy.

Elizeo had a great party, surrounded by the centre’s staff, fellow residents and Nelus, a former beneficiary and  Claudia’s bosom chum, who likes returning to visit his “St Andrew’s family”  during summer breaks. At the party, the children listened to music, had fruit juice and a caramel and chocolate cake that was highly praised for the sweet, delicious taste of caramel

Since it was his birthday, Elizeo had presents galore including one from his friend and sponsor Ben Rimington Wilson. Ben is an active and interested sponsor who makes regular inquiries about Elizeo, and who wanted give him a special surprise on his special day by sending a couple of carefully selected gifts, wrapped in love and consideration. Among the received gifts, Elizeo had t-shirts and shorts, some special emollient cream for sensitive skin, which Elizeo sorely needed and shampoo for children. He also had a “My soft vehicle” toy car that lights up and sings and coloured balls to help in his sensory stimulation sessions. In the accompanying photograph, Elizeo is proudly wearing his brand-new shorts and t-shirt showing just how pleaded he is to be remembered by his sponsor.

Saint Andrew’s care team wishes to thank Elizeo’s sponsor for his support, dedication and care shown to this wonderful boy. Thank you!
