An Arch d'Triumph

North Yorkshire's Most Talented and Prolific Knitters Have Done It Again

Connie Watson and friends from Castleton have collectively knitted Noah's Ark and a full selection of animals. Tthey are great supporters of Children in Distress and constantly knit jumpers, cardigans, hats, gloves, scarves and blankets to warm the hearts of our children in Romania.

Last Easter this talented group knitted dozens of chickens - each one sold to raise a lot more than chicken feed for CID children!

Jane Russell, CID's Funding Development Manager has been waiting for just the right occasion to "wow" supporters by unveiling this superb and spectacular craft work.

The Grandest Grand Bazaar

She insists that the time is right between 10am - 12noon on Saturday 16th May 2009 at the CID Grand Craft Bazaar at St Peter's Church, Norton where the Noah's Ark will be the grand raffle prize.

The CID Men's Choice Collection

Items on sale will include selected framed paintings and prints, a wide range of beautifully handcraft goods, CID notecards and teatowels, the celebrated "Miss Aly's Celebrity Cook Book".  In addition, a select collection of men's new clothes (jackets, trousers, shirts and polo shirts) will be available from Britain's favourite store, and much, much more.

Make it a Date

The ladies of St Peter's will be serving their renowned baking and much loved coffee and tea. For a great morning out and bargains you may never see again, please come along.
