Building bridges and making new friends and supporters for the Charity's mission of care

Our Korean guests touring the wards

GMB Romania Auto Industry, a company with major Korean investment capital, recently offered gifts to the kids resident at St Andrew’s. The management team's visit was all the more significant as there were several key people involved including Koo Bong Jip the President of GMB Romania Auto Industry and Messer Lee Woo Sung and Park Hee-Jo, Economic and Political Counselors together with Mr. Song Ho-Zoung, an Assistant at the Romanian Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Mariana Mandreanu, St Andrew’s Director and Adrain Macovei the General Director of Arges County Social Services Department warmly welcomed the visitors, our honoured guests toured the wards, the centre’s facilities and visited the social services based on the St Andrew’s campus.

During their visit, these honoured guests offered a range of much needed and useful gifts for the children, which included nappies, medicines, three mini-TVs and toys. At the end of the visit, President Ko Bong Jip shared the news, that they are considering continuing these social activities in the future so the Centre’s management team and staff couldn’t be happier or more proud.

Thank you gentlemen, for your kindness and generosity and for having our St Andrew’s children at heart!

All of us at Children in Distress express our profound thanks and extend our best wishers of the festive season and for the New Year ahead
