Just a little thanks to a friend

sharing grateful thanks

When you are young, life is and adventure and so it is for Claudia who has learned that treasuring people is the way to a fulfilled life.

At the beginning of February, Claudia, along some of her school chums decided to surprise their favourite primary school teacher. Although they graduated from the primary and said their goodbyes some six months ago, they still have treasured memories in their hearts, so the idea to visit their teacher and show her how much she meant to them. It is important to help children identify the people who make a difference in their lives and teach them how to show their appreciation and care because it teaches respect and help them grow as considerate human beings

So on their teacher’s birthday, the kids clubbed their pocket money and  bought a delicious cake and a bunch of flowers to surprised her while she was teaching the next generation of children in their old classroom. There was lots of happiness, tears of joy and emotions on both sides, especially for Claudia, who was one of her teacher’s protégés.

This was a kind and generous thing to do and it was gratifying to see Claudia participate and sacrifice all of her even pocket money to help buy her teacher’s surprise birthday present. Safe to say she talked it all over with her carers. Claudia and her pals spent around an hour with their former teacher, talking about their future, whether they want to complete their education, pursue other dreams and had just a little fun reminiscing about primary school. It was, indeed, a fantastic day!
