Water of life an appeal for the future of St Margaret’s Hospice

The building site works that depend on you

St Margaret's Hospice in Bucharest offers life, hope & happiness to twenty-five children with the most complex developmental, genetic & neurological disorders, or multiple disabilities. Most children have been abandoned as being beyond help. However, with the tender loving care of the professional multidisciplinary care team based there, the children find the support & professional care, which allows them to maximize their potential & lead as normal a family life as possible.  St Margaret’s is unique in its care provision & works to ensure a better to day for children who may have no tomorrow.

Licensing requires the creation of a water reserve tank to feed its already installed fire sprinkler system, without this new water reserve, the Hospice will be closed, the children’s lives will be put at risk & a superb team of trained paediatric palliative care professionals will lose their jobs.

To help fund the works Children in  Distress has just launch a new fundraising campaign  in it Just Giving site and invite volunteers and donors to help save this superb hospice and the lives of the children  living there
