Top StoryLaurentiu faces another challengeLaurentiu in his Seminary room Readers will know Laurentiu relatively well from articles in “Vision” and in this website’s news section published since he first joined the Charity’s POSDRU programme in Curtea de Arges. As a boy abandoned to fend for himself Laurentiu Strőe has overcome many challenges in his short life, unfortunately he has just been admitted to hospital at Curtea de Arges. His doctors, so far, are reluctant or unable to give him a clear diagnosis. He has an inflammatory condition and doctors recommend that Laurentiu be transferred to Bucharest’s Colentina Hospital for more comprehensive tests and analysis. He has a skin rash; swollen feet and the doctors have not yet determined if this is a recurrence of an existing psoriasis condition or something more serious. As result they recommend more tests be done and seek a specialist second opinion before a new treatment regime is recommended.
Although the hospital in Curtea de Arges is good, the team there does not have the proper specialists. For at least another week or until a bed is available in Bucharest Laurentiu will stay under observation at Curtea de Arges Hospital until he finishing his prescribed medication and treatment
