Little Nicoleta makes a special guest appearance

Nicoleta already everyone's favourite girl

We have new guest at St Margaret’s, she has been on the way for some time however, the Judge only signed the permit yesterday. Nicoleta is right a little cutie she is exceptionally well behaved, has beautiful almond shaped eyes, the softest hair and she looks like she’s smiling all the time.

She was born on the 27th October 2011, on the maternity wing of the “Victor Gomoiu” Hospital, and when she reached 5 months was admitted to the same hospital, but sadly, for over a month nobody visited her. The worried hospital staff then contacted Child Protection. Unfortunately, Nicoleta has multiple disabilities (hydrocephalus, paraplegia, scoliosis), her mother, Mariana it seems cannot take care of her, so Child Protection knowing, St Margaret’s as a centre of excellence in caring for children with disabilities, and of the dedicated care which will be lavished on her, placed her there.

Today, Nicoleta’s mother and her little sister (she has four other brothers and sisters) came to visit. She was very glad, she just laughed when her mother held her in her arms so Mariana said she will come back in the evening with Nicoleta’s father. Nicoleta needs a great deal of care but her care team will work with this family to see what can be done to effect reconciliation. Meantime she will join our little family at St Margaret’s, which needs a girl or two to balance numbers and calm the boys a bit.
