Guests pay a ‘special’ visit to St. Andrew’s

The staff at St Andrew’s in Pitesti were pleased to welcome, at part of their indication tour, two new members of the administration team of Children in Distress UK; Tina Connelly, the fulltime  Administrator in the Glasgow office and Caroline Wilkie, CID’s  new Funding Development Manager in the North of England  who had come on a fact finding visit. Both were being shown round by Alisdair Barron the CEO of CID and CIDRO and the Foundation’s local Executive Director, Valentina Zaharia.

They had arrived just as young Claudia was just coming back from school and she was thrilled to meet old friends and new, she couldn’t miss the opportunity to have her photograph taken with the visitors. Both of the visitors we overwhelmed by all they saw, the dedication to care and the quality of the nursing and support services provided. They had a full tour of the Centre and the Community based Therapy Centre before moving on to St Cristopher's to meet the children in its superb educational project.
