CID’s Little Helpers first Fun Day

We would like to say a massive well done to Lesleyann & the CID Little Helpers who raised £410 at their first Fun Day.

They had loads of support from the local community and even had a visit from the community police who let the local children sit in the car and explore some of the equipment they used all while running the blue lights.

They secured a young up and coming DJ and his assistant to help on the day and volunteered his time.

They also had some friendly faces as some of CID’s supporters also came to support them.  One of our trustee’s family, Anne McGill, her daughter and granddaughters, as well as Barbara Maxwell one of our longest serving supporters.

The day was complete when the former CEO of Children in Distress Mr Alisdair Barron came to support us and join in the fun.

It really was a fun packed day and we wish the CID Little Helpers all the very best for the next venture.
