Florina joins our centre’s extended family of care

Florina is settling in well

The St Andrew’s care team are happy to announce that a new girl and member of our family of care was transferred to the centre on May 31, 2018 from a Pitesti Centre in the Trivale area. This cute little young lady, is named Florina Minodora Grozavu and she now brightens our days with her bright eyes.

She was born on the 5th of July 2013, is 4 years old, and has been diagnosed as having spastic tetraplegia, microcephaly, epilepsy, global developmental delay and gyration anomalies. She’s been resident for the last three days and she seems to have settled in nicely, as she is constantly surrounded by doting nurses and carers who soothe her, sing to her and help her feel relaxed and at ease. She is tranquil, and no notable changes have taken place with her health and she is not agitated at all. At present she is intubated and permanently monitored by the medical staff, but we hope that brighter days are just around the corner for her.

Welcome, we hope you will find it nice in your new home among so many friends! We all hope your days will be calm and full of relaxation.
