Thrift Shop Manageress’s Birthday Pledge.

CID’s very own Guisborough shop manageress Tracy England, has today asked that instead of presents this year, she would ask family, friends and supporters to donate to Children in Distress.  Keeping her up and coming age a closely guarded secret Tracy added,

“For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Children in Distress. I’ve chosen this non-profit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you’ll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal”.

Children in Distress was founded to help abandoned children and orphans in Romania with terminal or incurable illness as a result of accident, infection, genetic disorders or accident at birth. Our work has evolved from that initial focus of children with HIV/AIDS to offering love and care to infants with a range of other incurable and terminal illnesses “we don’t do miracles but it’s amazing what TLC can do” We aim to bring quality of life and dignity in death to children who would otherwise have neither.

Why not help Tracy reach her goal and donate today through her JustGiving page:

Tracy also added “cake donations are also very welcomed, but I can manage them by myself”

We would like to wish Tracy the best of luck with her fundraising and say a massive “Thank You” for thinking of us.
