CID’s work directly reaches thousands of Romania’s forgotten, in some cases the most distressed, sick, children, and elderly.

Perhaps of greater  importance is that though the charity’s education and training conferences training workshops we hope to set standards and empower Romanian professionals, care staff, educationalist therapists and social workers and students to share the success and standards of our successful projects and  programmes to other regions.

With the help of volunteers and specialists from the UK and elsewhere in Europe  CID runs  an annual programme regular  in placements centres  in caring for those with special needs and in autism,  play therapy, occupational and physiotherapy  and developmental  therapies and treatment  for children with learning and physical challenges in partner programmes and state institutions.
