When you read you actually live in the story

St. Christopher’s children always liked to spend their free time reading. It has been a way to live their dreams, to live in the fantasies of the stories, to live in a fantasy in which there are no differences among children, no bullying, no discrimination, in which everything takes on the color of joy, to forget about their woes, shortcomings and about the less desirable aspects of life.

When they read they feel closer to our Galantom (a sponsor of the children who created a page on an online fundraising platform named Galantom to help us raise money) who set out a target to read 30 minutes per day. The older ones read out loud to the younger ones who are becoming accustomed to this tradition, telling them stories while working, and dream with them about a beautiful world where children get to enjoy their childhood.
