We’ve been making a difference to young lives in Romania for over 35 years and are proud to have recently extended our reach and impact to children here in the UK. You can discover more about our work in our latest annual report below.
How your support helps
- We're delighted to announce that in 2025 you helped us fill, pack and distribute 5,000 Christmas shoeboxes across Romania. As well as the children at Casa Maria, we distributed shoeboxes to over 20 other locations including schools, churches, residential care centres and community projects across Romania, bringing joy to those who need it most.
- You've helped fund life-changing support for the children at Casa Maria. This includes over 150 physiotherapy sessions each month, specialist art and animal-assisted therapy sessions, socialisation and leisure activities and supporting independent living skills like cooking lessons and simple shopping tasks.
- Our UK funded projects have helped over 100 Romanian children connect with their heritage and learn vital skills for life.
